Jourdan Rodrique: There’s a chance the Rams activate all three QBs for the gameday roster, said Sean McVay - grinning, he did not expand on that one.

Your response motivated me to look into it and you're right about not getting rattled:

  • Per Pro Football Focus, in 2020, Stafford’s 91.8 passer rating under pressure was among the league's best. Meanwhile, Goff struggled.

  • Goff’s 45.9 passer rating while under pressure was near the bottom.

Part of my concern is to have reasonable expectation for this Rams team because after Goff made it to the Super Bowl and because he was so young and the coach was so young and the defense was very good and we had a running game.... I thought we'd only get better from that point on.

So this season, it sure seems like we're poised to have a great season because most people think Stafford is going to make a huge, positive impact.

My major concern was and is our offensive line. It's great that a quarterback CAN scramble and handle pressure, but if we have offensive line health issues like we did last year, I don't want to see Stafford be on a steady diet of hurries, getting hit as he throws or being sacked.

I just looked it up that Whitworth is going to turn 40 in December and was drafted in 2006! No clue how he's able to play such a brutal position for 15 years and counting. I know he's injured, but I'd like to think that all his experience is a huge asset to the rest of the team.
