I don't work for UDON. I'm not even in the manga industry in any way, shape, or form. So it's not "my" company that went to the author for the censorship that he agreed to.

Do you realize that the author's original intent in their home country is different than what their original intent is for other countries? They know that fan service is almost required in Japan for something to sell well, that's why it's everywhere. They remove that shit when it goes overseas because it's not needed to sell their work (they already got paid for that stuff at home, anything overseas is a bonus!)

You're barking at the wrong tree about this issue, I'm just the friend of someone who was being attacked for saying something stupid, and now people are assuming I'm part of the industry (despite me making many assumptions about how things around there work. Funny how nobody else in this thread doing the same assumptions is being called out for claiming things work a certain way...it's only me and the others who don't think the censoring of an underage character is as big of a deal to warrant people freaking out about it as much as they are. Funny, that.)
