AITA for not allowing my husband to stay out late at night and asking his friend to mind his own business?

NTA. I would have done the same thing if I had a wife who did that. Even worse I would have told her , " its either that or we're over". You should probably block them on FB to be honest.

My dad was an alcoholic before I was born , it got worse and worse with the years. 3 years ago I knew he would die soon because he was mixing alcohol and pills. 2 years ago he died. I never shed a tear probably because he abused my mom when I was younger and never tried to stop drinking for his son.

One of my best friend is in the same exact situation as your Husband. He hangs out with losers who always go drink 3-4 times a week. My best friend works 12h shifts , sometimes he gets back a 3am drunk and works at 6am. He never drives his car but couple months ago his friends drove his car and crashed it ( amazing friends right ? ). Couple months later he got back home with a black eye and told me the bouncer punched him and coughed him for no reason ( sure ... ) . So I had a talk with him maybe 2 months ago and told him : Everytime you comeback drunk I see my dad and I hate it , I lost him , I don't want to lose you ! He then started crying and I started crying. Since then, its been little better but not enough.
