I once got stoned off of my ass in high school prior to the grand opening of the first Popeyes in our area. Tore up some chicken then went home still absolutely blasted, tried to go straight to bed but my mom wanted me to watch dr Phil with her so I did and she noticed because it was obvious but I didn’t have a relationship with her at the time that I felt honesty would get me anywhere so I lied to the end, she said if I’m not high then somethings wrong with me and took me to the ER where the doctor told her I was high. Shit was very wack for a while but we eventually moved passed it and were cool now. In hindsight still not sure being honest would have been any better for me but I at least would have saved her some money and the time of the ER doctor
