A cannabis farmer's market. This is the world that we all probably want to live in.

I know 100% that many many people out there have had it far worse than myself. But when i was 15, 20 years ago now... i got arrested for possession of a small personal amount of weed. The cops pulled me out of my then girlfriend's car, searched me, handcuffed me, took me to the police station, and interrogated me about about my use and where i got it. My parents had to pick me up hours later. The entire experience was traumatizing for a 15 year old. And i credit my first serious bout of depression to that experience that led to overall poor highschool grades and experience. I believe our drug laws are one of the greatest mistakes our society has made. It's rooted in racism and classism, contributed to the militarization of our police forces and have repressed people's. We must end prohibition of all drugs and treat addiction as a disease and not a criminal behavior. I'm glad i now live in a legal state and that future generations won't have to suffer the way i and many others have.
