I just hit one week opioid free.

One goal at a time my friend, one week clean, work for two weeks, then three, then a month, two months. Keep on keeping on, once youve comfortably gotten clean, then you can work into quitting smoking. I recommend going to the gym, the endorphins you release after a workout as similar to how you feel when you get high. Work stuff in to keep yourself busy, then slowly quit smoking. Ween yourself off, if you smoke a pack a day try smoking half a pack, then try smoking only five cigarettes a day. I’m proud of you but a wise man once told me, when you attempt to do something don’t tell anyone you know, just do it. If you tell people they start congratulating you and your brain registers that as you already met your goal. In other words, as my Platoon Sergeant once said to me, don’t talk about it, be about it. The more you talk the less you do. Sorry if that sounded negative but I’m proud of you, good luck on the path my friend and remember you can do it, I have faith.
