I don’t understand how I lack open mindedness? I did try it out and came to the understanding that it wasn’t for me. I’ve been clean for over a year with no thanks to NA. I get that having a community and someone there to support you through the 12 step program is the environment that they try to set up, but you must realize that it’s not always like that. There’s a number of people (dealers) who go to these meetings and try to convince you to buy off them. There’s also those that try to start a relationship even though the rules say to wait a year? You both had great experiences and that’s great, but not everyone in NA meetings are awesome and encouraging to begin with.
