Just introduced to diffeq last year. Curious how to go about modeling something like this.

I mean would it just be figuring out the equation of one by itself then adding the amplitudes together of each shifted version to get the amount of change so to get the change of one you get the amplitude of the other 4 and figure out the amount of change to the one based on the combined force from the 4? Probably more complicated than this cause I'm probably missing something important but in my head this makes sense? Cause like the cans don't really matter they only facilitate the metronomes to act against/with each other so just figuring out the change in amplitude from the forces of the other 4 metronomes on one then repeat for each would do it no?
