Ender Pro 3 Hatchbox Black PLA Nozzle: 180 C Bed: 50 C Travel Speed: 60 mm/s

I may have had a retraction setting of 1mm but I don't remember off the top of my head.

Yesterday I was printing with the same materials at pretty much the same setting (though I was changing a few things here and there cuz I was having a stringing problem) and my prints were coming off the bed just fine (except the stringing, of course). Today, I put on this aluminum extruder arm and now I'm having this problem with patching. The only thing I didn't replace was the gear in the center that's connected to the motor cuz I felt I didn't need to, but maybe I do? I'm honestly at a loss here, any help is appreciated.
