I’ve recently found out that a girl I dated (and really liked) for a couple weeks one time is now in a long term relationship with a younger girl (it’s just barely legal). The girl’s sister brought it up to me explaining that she had cut all contact with all her family, her friends and even her job. Then I found out that my ex has been keeping her locked in their apartment with no phone or anything, has been beating her, bought a dog for her that she beats every time her girlfriend says something she doesn’t like, and doesn’t even let her lock the bathroom door. It’s insane. And I only know 2 other lesbians and they’re both recently out of very abusive relationships. I don’t have high hopes to ever have a loving relationship unfortunately.
