T gel vs injections

I only have 80% coverage on prescriptions as the gel still costs me $100/month after that. I find the process of having to apply it every single day to be extremely tedious. It gets everywhere, smells weird. I'm someone who is struggling deeply with depression and ADHD, lives alone and works full time, and I have an absolute hell of a time trying to keep track of whether or not I've done it that day. I find it way harder than just having a shot every Wednesday. I'm fucking FORCED to use this stupid gel shit because the injections are completely out of stock in my area until at least April of 2022. I hate it and desperately wish I could go back on injections :"(
