I think my criticism here is that the vaccine is 1 year old and the studies on long term effort a are completely unknown. I am a front line medical worker and am vaccinated with little side effect. In the US, half of all adults have been vaccinated and the vaccine is available to anyone in a high risk category for free at any time. It’s really available to any adult that wants it at this point. At what point do we as a country say that anyone who isn’t vaccinated knows the risk? Why drastically alter society for those who refuse to vaccinate? It’s been the front page story in the news for over a year. This is a modern medical triumph. Why force the super low risk to vaccinate at this point to protect those that don’t want to be protected? I have young children. The chance of Covid causing serious harm to them is minuscule. Why would I inject an untested treatment into them as a form of virtue signaling? Thank god Covid spared children, but I will NOT ignore the science and statistics just to fit into what is seen as politically correct. It’s insanity and stupidity. No one wants to have a nuanced conversation on the topic.
