Blaming cops is stupid here. These individuals are trained to go after violent offenders and such. Yes it's shitty that they go after drug users. My recommendation is to work towards changing that law. The cops are only following those rules, many themselves probably smoke weed or something else, it's a high stress job, and would gladly embrace the change. As for Wall Street, again, push for new legislation. Organize. But don't blame police officers good lord. Yes cops have done plenty of shitty things, we've all seen the videos were certain ones beat nonviolent citizens. And yet again, the only way you're going to fix that problem is by people paying more attention and looking out for each other and doing something about these crooked cops. Sticking your head in the sand/blaming cops for everything is counterproductive.
