[ LateNight Thots] ever feel like people all around you are taking all these big steps moving on with their life, while u are just there hanging on taking it day by day

I absolutely get you. I always had this fear of being average and getting ignored. Of not standing out as special. I was studious, played instruments. But then I realised that there was also my ego, which made me compare myself with others. I realised that the only person you need to compete with is you yourself.

This also shows that doesn't matter if you're talented, if someone works consistently or passionately towards something, they will beat talent. Look at me. In 11th, I was considered a sure shot for under 500 in jee adv. Today I'm here pulling an all nighter for my pre boards.

But it is never too late to make a comeback. This situation is actually very humbling. When you've been seeing at the world from the top, you never see the dirt and are arrogant. When you realise you are powerless, when you have nothing to be arrogant over, you lose that ego. You work honestly, and compare yourself with who you were yesterday. And then you stop feeling jealous of others. It takes time, but it does happen.
