I think a lot of people (myself included) are initially a little confused by this subreddit, especially because of /r/menwritingwomen, and because a lot of the posts here are genuinely really bad drawings.

A post on /r/menwritingwomen is making the argument that the excerpt in question is bad writing. Whereas a post here is not necessarily arguing against the drawing itself, but merely making the argument that the character is sexualized, and if you don't function with the inherent assumption that unnecessary sexualization is bad, then you might misunderstand why the post belongs here.

Regardless, I don't understand why "I don't think sexualizing characters is bad" is grounds for 40 downvotes, but at least now I understand the point of the sub.
