I’m planning on doing my own bridal makeup to save some $$; what can I do to improve?

Overall, it's a great jumping off point! The colors are very natural and look great on you. I would play around with the layout of the blush and under eye makeup. The way the blush and eyeshadow are applied, it gives the appearance of a large darker circle covering the cheek and eye on either side of your face which highlights that there's just a small half circle of a lighter tone under each eye. I hope I'm describing that clearly. Link to image below. I think that effect would be minimized if you bring the light under eye color a bit lower and broader then have it sweep along the outer sides of your face in between the blush and eyeshadow. I know zero makeup terminology so just try the layout on the right and see if you like it more.
