Man can't return lost money without making a reddit post about it

You only need to make ~$23/hr in this state to make $800 a week. And that is after tax. No overtime. A lot of states do not have state income tax deductions, such as the one I live in.

That’s working 40 hours no overtime. In my industry (shipping and logistics), if you want to work a 5th day on all overtime (our schedule is usually 4 days), that’s an easy $360 in one day, and sometimes they beg people to do a 5th day week.

ANYONE can get this job unless they’re flat out stupid or have a bad driving record, and they are hiring like crazy, especially with COVID going on. There are truck driving jobs that you don’t even need a CDL... like UPS pays their drivers $30+ an hour, and some of the guys that have been there for a long time are making over $45/hr. I don’t work there but I know a lot of people that do. No degree needed.

My cousin is applying to this chemical company downtown and their starting pay is $27hr, with a $2 raise every January. No degree needed. And that $27/hr is for their most basic work.

There’s lots of well paying jobs that don’t require one.
