I don't expect redditors to comprehend or consider this, but he's probably a criminal who would find it hard to get one if something like this happened in the US--especially if he may not be a citizen: guessing this is possible since he is "Asian" and a lot of Middle Easterners are refugees there. Again imagining if something like this happened in the US, but he had an AR, a law abiding concealed carry-permitted citizen would have better aim (criminals are dumb and don't practice their aim), and he would be promptly discouraged into death or retreat with return fire before getting much of a death toll. Best of all he could be disposed of and not leech up taxpayer money in a prison for 50 years.
