Already deactivated my Google login for Meetup, deleted the app from the Google Play Store, and left the following review. Please pay attention to the top part if you have an Android and can leave reviews on Play Store.

RESIST DOWNLOADING THIS

I am putting this up top so it's seen: I reported this app as "Hateful or Abusive Content". Because that what #RESIST is. Hate speech. I suggest you do the same. (Also, adding the phrase "#RESIST DOWNLOADING THIS" to your review will cause it to appear on the Review Highlights section, which I think would help prove a point. Push your agenda on us, and we might just make our own agenda.)

Apparently Meetup has made a point of using their company as a soapbox to spout their unrequested opinion about current events. #Resist is a sad attempt at polarizing society even more by taking a political stance as a company and even taking it as far as SENDING OFFICIAL EMAILS supporting jaded (and, honestly, downright ignorant and uninformed) political views.

I did not come here for politics, Meetup. You're a group organizing app. Executive orders have absolutely NOTHING to do with using your app, so please don't tell me your opinion about them. I never asked for it. Can NO ONE provide a politically neutral platform anymore? Extremely disappointed by this unethical misuse of an irrelevant platform to push political agendas. Uninstalled, never plan to reinstall. I hope this is the end of your company. Maybe then you'll learn some tact. Disgusting.
