Single people, how do you remain sane being single?

Ah, I see! I mean feeling left out and being frustrated when turned down etc. are of course super understandable feelings, but I wonder if you're substituting anger for sadness? I guess anger can be an easier emotion to deal with in some ways.

I used to worry about that too, I thought that everybody else would scrutinize me for still being single, but I feel like with time people have just accepted it about me. And if somebody gives me crap for it I just tell them that I'm perfectly content on my own. Or that I'm still looking, but haven't found the right person. Really though I think it's mostly an internal judgement thinking you'd be a loser for not having a girlfriend, but if somebody says that about you then they're just an asshole anyway. Most people don't spend that much time worrying about the relationship status of others.
