I guess I get where you’re coming from. As someone who grew up Christian (not as religious now), I’ve gotten used to seeing pastors grow these mega churches and make it all about the money, making more, and using church funds to spend lavishly on themselves.

However, I can’t fault a guy like Carl who has made the church/Christianity seem more accessible to people who turned away due to the overt conservatism and discrimination. Idc if he mixes with celebs and has a bit of money, I don’t really see anything wrong with that. No one ever said pastors couldn’t be successful. As long as the Church’s money isn’t being used for his personal profit and he isn’t overtly asking for money, I’m good.

He seems cool to me.
