Your assessment of soldiers as "slaves" is fucking stupid. Soldiers are employees that engage in a high-risk high reward contractual exchange. Nobody forces anyone to join the military. But it can be a good ticket out of the bottom quartile of prosperity, and the opportunity to enroll is equally distributed across all citizens, regardless of class.

We don't get nothing from it. We get to call a lot of shots because we have the strongest military on earth. Whether the shots being called are correct (insert discontent with the current administration) is another issue entirely. Your response is short sighted, and founded in a juvenile, misguided empathy for the downtrodden.
