I’m 20 and I would never dream of doing this. Ever. I used to babysit kids when I was 12. I was extremely responsible, I would actually play with the kids, consistently keep an eye on them, etc. I was never the kind of person who turns on tv and ignores children while in a house at age 12. To be fair I’m not the kind of 20 year old who does drugs either, but come on. 20 is more than old enough to be capable of caring for yourself and another human being. I think you might have forgotten what your brain is like at 20. I’d agree if she was 12, but not 20.

Her brain is developed enough to be fully responsible for this. Also I doubt any more brain development would’ve made her a better person.
