More of modernized greek gods

Greek myths. There is a site called "Theoi" that compiled a lot of Greek sources citing books from Ancient Greek authors and generally mythology regarding the Greek gods, and they make pages for each god and with all the quotes that speak about that certain character. In all of those physical descriptions provided – the gods are called "golden haired" – "flaming haired" (pyrrhos – blonde/red) and blue eyed or grey eyed or blue-green eyes (glaukopis is a Greek term referring to a greyish-blue eye color that also looks green under certain circumstances). Greek mythology is racist as hell, but the thing is – not only Greek mythology; because the Greeks inherited their myths from the Middle East and even Middle Eastern sources (where people who worshipped the gods were dark skinned) claim that the gods are light in color, which is pretty fucked up if you ask me, but that’s the way it is unfortunately, so no reason to lie about it just to cover up the ugly. For example look up this Mithraic banquet scene with the god "Mithras" and the sun-god "Sol" (Roman counterpart of "Helios" and Babylonian "Shamash"): https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Polychrome_reproduction_of_the_Mithraic_banquet_scene_featuring_Mithras_and_the_Sun_god_banqueting_on_the_hide_of_the_slaughtered_bull,_dating_to_130_AD,_Lobdengau-Museum,_Ladenburg,_Germany_(9407906616).jpg. – https://www.mithraeum.eu/album/monumenta/IMG_0147.jpeg. It was reconstructed based on traces of polychromy (residue of the original colors) found on the original tablet depicting this scene. Mithraism is Oriental in its origins. Same with Hinduism where Indra is described as "golden-haired" and also on native islands in the Pacific where natives are born sometimes with naturally red hair who are considered "demons" because white traits are regarded as "demonic" by those native people; or even the folklore belief in the evil-eye (which can cause misfortune and pain and Jewish culture elaborates on the matter explaining that they believed that "fire" and "fiery rays" come out of the eyes which is why the cause harm) and the lucky charms that depict the "evil-eye" are blue-eyed: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41GrudpiQQL._AC_SX425_.jpg – and people with blue eyes were believed by the natives to be able to inflict damage with their eyes just by looking at you. This is from the Wikipedia page: "A number of beliefs about the evil eye are also found in folk religion, typically revolving around the use of amulets or talismans as a means of protection. . In the Aegean Region and other areas where light-colored eyes are relatively rare, people with green eyes, and especially blue eyes, are thought to bestow the curse, intentionally or unintentionally."
