What do people in their 20s do to get 6 figure jobs?

Tech jobs. My husband got a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity by going to school online and his company paid for it. Then he got his…Sec plus? I think it’s called. The first cert you get. That’s all it took for him to get hired at the “entry level” Cybersecurity position at his workplace. That was $84k. After a year he got promoted a level and now makes $105k, plus a small bonus. He made a mid-life career change. He works with plenty of folks in their 20s doing what he does making at least what he makes. We are not in a high cost of living area, either.

Meanwhile, I’ve been an RN for 22 years and I make $84k before bonus.

If I had to do it again I know what I’d chose!
