Move to St Pete or Tampa

I moved from California to St Pete about 5yrs ago. I work from Tampa, but since COVID been mostly remote. I hope to get to this later, but make the right decision. They are polar opposite Cities. St Pete has that rough around the edges feel, but everything is aesthetically beautiful (or much). The parks are all lit up at night, and the grass/vegetation pruned. World class beaches are 5 miles away. Central Ave has turned into something amazing. Read about it online, but it is filling up with younger folk. The entire Central Ave corridor is the place to be. The arts/brewery/warehouse district is changing rapidly at the moment. South St Pete has been known to be rough, but it's only in parts and actually is the place to find a diamond in the rough.
