No, you are correct. Florida (Tampa St. Pete) contains some of THEE worst "drivers" ever. Period. Inconsiderate. Stupid beyond belief. Don't pay attention. Don't follow traffic rules and most don't give a fuck. When I see people doing 75 in a 30 or blasting through school zones without slowing... tailgating me on the freeway... flashing lights at me and zipping through regular day 40 - 45 mph traffic doing upwards of 90 to 100, weaving in and out, so no, they don't give a fuck. I am willing to bet the majority of bad drivers in Florida can be blamed on senility and drug / alcohol abuse. I am convinced in this area most everyone is under the influence of some kind of pharmaceutical or illegal substance, the driving is that bad.

I drive 4 miles to work. It is RARE I am not livid from the abject stupidity I see on the roads every single day. Defensive driving is not enough.
