My Echo said "Hello" spontaneously when I turned the lights on in a dark room

I think the echo is capable of learning to do a lot of things on its own. For example, I have a Bose SoundLink, a bluetooth adapter that is directly connected to my stereo receiver. Keep in mind that my echo is NOT connected wirelessly or hardwired to any audio device that I own. I routinely connect my macbook via bluetooth to the soundlink to stream spotify over my surround sound while I'm working in the living room. One day, completely at random, I had not done any mods to any of my IoT devices, I attempted to connect my macbook pro to the soundlink and it would not play... Status said it was connected... Spotify said it was streaming... Nothing was working... So, here I am thinking shit, either my receiver or soundlink got fried somehow, now I have to figure out which one and go buy a new one... I kept messing around with the inputs... Nothing was working... I had asked Alexa for some info and LUCKILY still had my receiver on the proper channel and alexa responded over my surround sound. It had automatically made the connection between the two devices and knew that it was something I use frequently. I had to manually go into the Alexa app and remove the connection. The amount of effort to go and find that to begin with, is definitely not something that I happened to manage to setup on accident...
