No, it's like hiring the contractor and expecting him to the complete the work in a responsible manner that you paid him for. You didn't cheap out. You did what you were supposed to do. Then the contractor pours 4 inch slabs instead of 8. Then the contractor goes out of business and re incorporates. Then 5 years down the road shit is falling apart and your recourse is nonexistent. I suppose something bad could happen.

The reason people are pissed is they are "doing the right thing" and are continually getting fucked in the ass for it. The schools which I will never use are stealing my money. If I did have kids they sure as shit wouldn't be going to public schools, but what are my options? Pay for property taxes and private school? So I'm paying for school twice? It's bullshit. If I don't like a teacher I'd have to move if they were in the public school. Again total bullshit. My friends have kids and they is a FTE following around a fucking autistic kid all day. They ain't gonna be getting a STEM job. Likewise not everyone should get an education. You screw up in school, you're out of here. My school bounced people left and right. They all went to the public schools.

Like I said at some point in time it is better to join the assholes and if you can't be part of the solution you might as well be part of the problem. And it is causing other issues as well. I'd like to fix up my siding and whatnot. Do you know why I'm not doing it? Because they will jack up my property tax values even higher.
