My pirate-themed OC Stand, Haywire Helmsman!

I've been working on an OC Stand in the past couple of weeks and my vision has finally come to life! I present to you Haywire Helmsman, a pirate-themed Stand from the early 1700s set in a fictional JoJo universe during the Golden Age of Piracy.

Haywire Helmsman

" I tell you, there's plenty of reason to believe it's cursed. Its sole gaze terrified even me, yet it's not like we haven't had our fair share of experiences with these spirits through the Caribbean, huh? "

—Trevin Hailey and his crew reminiscing about encountering strange spirits during their journeys.

Haywire Helmsman (ヘイワイヤーヘルムスマン Heiwaiyā Herumusuman) is the Stand of an unknown figure, thought to either belong to a pirate, a privateer or a sailor.

It is among the first Stands discovered in the area of the Caribbean Sea during Trevin Hailey's search for mysterious arrows.

Appearance

Haywire Helmsman is a humanoid Stand, resembling a somewhat robotic exoskeleton of what is believed to be a pirate from the 1700s. It has a rather decaying appearance, and is only slightly muscular in its build. Some limbs of the Stand have missing pieces of "skin", revealing what appears to be mechanical bones. A headwear similar to that of a metallic tricorn is sitting on top of the Stand's head, with sturdy bolts keeping it in place.

Below it is a pair of dark turquoise glowing eyes, with much similarity to that of Osiris or Hierophant Green. Its body is mostly grey and copper coloured, except for the two metallic plates sitting on each shoulder and elbow, which are a hue of dark navy blue. An especially flamboyant belt consisting of red and white colours connects the torso with the legs. One of its most striking features is on its back, that being a huge wooden steering wheel of a galleon.

Aside from two kneepads the same colour as the shoulder pads, the Stand is also wearing a pair of leather looking dark boots.

Personality

Haywire Helmsman is a chaotic and unhinged Stand both in its personality and combat prowess. At completely unpredictable times, it even has a slight tendency to try and act on its own, however this can easily be kept in check by the User. Unlike some other Stands, it doesn't have any facial expressions and is incapable of producing them.

It also produces no sound through its mouth or orifices and has no Stand Cry. While attacking however, sounds of loosening bolts and metal creaks can be heard. Haywire Helmsman itself doesn't seem very interested in self-preservation, as it constantly demonstrates acting recklessly and attacking without much prior warning - it is theorized that it's cursed, having a mind of its own, as well as its own rights and wrongs.

Haywire Helmsman is named after its appearance and personality, haywire referring to being uncontrollably unhinged during certain periods and helmsman referring to its possible origin, as a helmsman is someone who steers and controls a ship, in this case, most likely a galleon or large frigate due to the steering wheel on the Stand's back.

Abilities

Haywire Helmsman is an Automatic Type, close to long range Stand; it's capable of blowing a barrage of serious punches to an opponent at close range, however it can also be piloted by the User from a range of maximum 500 meters. The further away the User is, the less precise Haywire Helmsman's attacks become.

In terms of raw power, it's weaker than The World and Star Platinum but stronger than Killer Queen.

Since Haywire Helmsman is an Automatic Type, the User doesn't have to rely on actively summoning it to attack potential foes - it is always on standby guard duty.

Haywire Helmsman can also receive preset commands from the User, acting in a manner similar to that of Black Sabbath. The User has total control of the extent of the commands and orders he or she is giving to Haywire Helmsman, though there's a limit to the number of orders its given at a designated time.

• Hallucination Induction: Haywire Helmsman's signature ability lies in the form of hallucinations. If activated, all living organisms (the User being the only exception) within 50 meters of range start experiencing phsyical distress. Plants will start showing signs of decomposition, leaves of trees begin falling out rapidly and after an onset of about 5 minutes, animals (with the exception of water and sea creatures which aren't affected) start finding ways to cause grave bodily harm to themselves, eventually ending their own lives.

Since humans are the most psychologically and mentally advanced species, they're the only ones who start uncovering the true reason behind these off-putting occurences. After a short while, any affected humans will start imagining hazardous and life-threatening things happening to them, and end up in a loop where their worst bodily fears manifest in phsyical form, up until the point where they're convinced what they're experiencing is real. For example, a person might have a deep fear of being struck by arrows in the neck, therefore that's what he's going to perceive in his personal loop. At first, it will only feel like slight pinches, after a while, like toothpicks poking at their neck, and after a longer duration (and if the effect of Haywire Helmsman isn't severed) it will fully transition into their fear and they will be forced to live through their pain until they accept death.

Even though this is Haywire Helmsman's most powerful ability, it damages both itself and the User if abused in-between short intervals. The history of it being used recklessly and without hesitation is marked on Haywire Helmsman's body - missing pieces of mechanical skin revealing bones and ligaments.

• One Last Shot (Wan Rasuto Shotto): If activated, Haywire Helmsman has the ability to release two cephalophods of unknown material from its chest, which seem to be connected to its mouth by a mechanical umbilical cord. These cephalophods can travel fast distances in short amounts of time, tracking down fleeing opponents or scouting an area. Their primary attack is using their tentacles to attach forcefully to someone's body part, most of the time that being their face or head. They then start applying immense amounts of pressure that can potentially make someone's head implode in a duration of 10 seconds. One Last Shot is especially useful in catching someone off-guard when they think Haywire Helmsman has been defeated, as they technically aren't part of the Stand itself, but rather distinguished machinery being stored inside it.

• Up Is Down (Appu Izu Daun): Another form of manipulated imagery attack, Haywire Helmsman can use Up Is Down through the use of the steering wheel on its back to cause sensations of vertigo in a nearby organism. In humans, this can even go as far as to manifest as their entire perspective of the physical world being upside down, with the exception of stars and celestial bodies for an unknown reason, causing the illusion of feeling like they're walking drunkenly on the surface of the sky. This provides a splendid opportunity and opening for Haywire Helmsman to begin a flurry of punches against a target, rendering them unconscious and/or gravely injured.

• Miniaturized Shockwaves: Haywire Helmsman also possesses the ability to send very powerful shockwaves through the ground from its feet by stomping, which can potentially turn anyone nearby unconscious or send them back flying into the air forcefully.
