I remember the whole catcalling/street harassments scare that basically was sexism and racism against Black and Latino men that portrayed them as potential sexual predators because some White (adjacent) feminist woman recorded herself for 10 hours walking through New York City in the hood being told she was beautiful. Then there was an entire app and organization built off of one video.

It was pretty much like the most racist/sexist thing possible but everybody thought it was okay because we must protect White women from the hordes of Black and Brown men that might sexually assault them. The 10 Hours Walking Through NYC as a Woman was Birth of a Nation for feminists who complain about manspreading.
