My sexuality is the most trans part of me.

I don't think it's homophobic. Men relate differently to men to how men relate to women, and women relate differently to men to how women relate to women. This goes for gay people and not just straight people. I don't think it's possible to articulate this super specifically in a Reddit comment, but on a very basic level genders form in-groups. Two women are on some level the same as each other, while the man is an "other". This in-group.

Gay men and straight women absolutely do express their love for men very differently. Just ask a bi man. He feels the difference in vibes between the two. Of course on some level couples love each other as people first and foremost. No one should see their boyfriend as a man before they see him as a person. But gay, straight and lesbian relationships are all different. I think it'd kind of be denying a very core part of LGBT+ culture, as well as a core part of humanity generally, to say otherwise.
