My theory after hearing everybody's theory.

Hamin is a smart and well-educated girl, the question is.... what does she gain by taking advantage of Junwoo, a loser at that time. Because love Jayu? and looking for Junwoo to replace him? Comical.

The important thing is that Hamin likes Junwoo even though he has changed. It doesn't matter what type of person she likes, or who Junwoo looks like.

Junwoo always cares about people, but caring too much creates misunderstandings, and the ending is often bad but the author balances everything in the end.

Jayu is just Hamin's past that she wants to forget, she feels guilty for leaving him, but she doesn't regret her decision, she chose to leave.
