Need some help

No matter how you throw the ball, you are throwing a ball. It's more about consistency than technique or form.

In the end we all start with a ball in our hand and it ends up at the end of an alley.

So. BE CONSISTENT.

Practice lining up in the same spot and hitting the same mark.

Go to the alleys everyday and do that. Don't even worry about your pin count, just make sure you line up in the same spot and you hit the same mark. If you can do that there is nothing stopping you from being a very good bowler.

Once you can hit your mark and throw a consistent ball (speed, revs, etc) you can move on to the next step. Leaning the game.

Every ball you throw you need to know where you lined up, what mark you hit, and where you ball ended up.

If you lined up correctly and hit your mark, had the right speed and the right release, but your ball did not do what you wanted it to do, and be honest with yourself, it's probably the lanes, and all you need to do is make a slight adjustment. Move your mark or move your feet (I prefer to keep my mark),

Bowling is actually a very simple game, at least with a house shot on leagues.

Just learn to be a consistent roller, and then learn how to play the game.

And by that I mean, knowing when you fucked up and when it could be the lanes, knowing what you did wrong and how to fix it and knowing when it's outside your control and knowing how to make adjustments to get the ball into the pocket.

I've seen a lot of good bowler miss their mark by 3 boards then run to their bag to get a different ball, they are good, but they don't know themselves or the game. Then they blame the ball and the lane and wind up ruining a good night just because they didn't have the "game knowledge" or the humility to say that "they fucked up",

Once you can consistently hit your mark, with the same speed and the same revs, you can easily get a 200 + average. That is the whole secret to bowling.
