This is one of those things where its like... its generally not worth it unless you know the ball has low games simply because the cost of drilling/redrilling is so expensive.
I'd rather just buy new balls that have been discontinued recently and are going for 30-60 less than the usual price and spend the drilling fee on that instead of spending 10-50 on something used and then having to drop another 60-70 to get it redrilled, it just doesn't make sense.
As long as you're willing to live a bit behind on new ball train, aka buying new balls a year or two after release when they're being discontinued, you can find deals on fresh balls, snagging them for like 80-120
