Never Vaped; Give me advice

Thanks for providing reason and actual advice, to you and the other few above. I train for boxing regularly, I gave up drinking a while back, I eat vegetarian with the occasional treat of bivalve mollusks, and I just completed my bachelors this past year. Ever since my early 20s I've walked a pretty straight line.

I feel that while we take care of our bodies, we also have to take care of our minds. Giving up so many vices has made my body feel great and driven me to achieve a lot of things, but I feel that it sometimes takes its toll on my mind. Sometimes my brain just wants a break from hard work and the stress of life and I'm looking for the least harmful thing to achieve that. It seems like most of the people that throw out the warnings of vaping and other vices are hypocrites who live very unhealthy lives overall.

I found a post on this same subreddit from two years ago and it had a very different tone in response. Every person who vaped was encouraging the newcomer to vape when they asked a similar question. Life itself is not safe, the entire world is out to kill us, we just have to find the path of least resistance and perform a balancing act with our actions.

Prescription drugs (and alcohol when one resorts to it) that combat depression, anxiety, bad moods, lack of motivation, pain, boredom, etc. are some of the most lethal substances in the world and their side effects lead to more medications. Why would you not want a person to try something like isolated nicotine prior to any other substance?
