Looking for some tips from experienced Vapers.

I'm newer to vaping as well so I wanted to share my (limited) experience so far. I quit 18 years of smoking a month ago and took up nicotine-free vaping as a fixation replacement.
I tried vaping 2 years ago with ego-style pen vapes with a dual coil clearomizer but they didn't work well for me. I didn't get enough vapor so I wasted a lot of money on juices and put me off of vaping for 2 years. :(
I've recently purchased an iTaste MVP3 which works great and holds a charge for a long time. A coworker who vapes very heavily has an MVP2 and it lasted him all day but they seem to last most folks a few days. As someone else mentioned, it also services as a USB power bank which is cool. However, it is heavy and I wouldn't consider it very portable. It's my "home vape" :)
I took my variable ego into work to keep one there and while helpful, I didn't get enough vapor to really keep me happy. So I ended up getting the Aspire Platinum kit for $80 at mtbakervapor (11% code: beefcake11). Now this thing is a sub-ohm atomizer and it's a cloud maker. I don't know whether it would have enough power for all day vaping and the charger is proprietary so less convenient than something micro USB
I find that the tanks are the biggest factor for me in the production of vapor. I started with an innokin iClear 30 Clearomizer and a Kanger ProTank3. I much prefer the ProTank 3 and was very happy with it at first... Then I wanted moar clouds. I then picked up a pair of Kanger SubTank nano's which have variable air intake. They also come with a 1.2 ohm and .5 ohm coil. I prefer 1.2 for general vaping but the .5 is fun for cloud-making. I also have the atlantis tank that comes with the Aspire Platinum. It's a very nice tank, also sub-ohm and makes serious clouds.
Now, where does that leave me? Without a lot of money! :P but really... Personally, I'd start with a Kanger ProTank3 and a Kanger SubTank. That will give you a lot of area to cover without spending a ton of dough. I think you'll want to work your way up to sub-ohm rather than just going there but the .5 ohm atomizer in the SubTank will give you that opportunity. I am a little torn on what battery to recommend because I'm not portable but I'd at least reocmmend something variable that will give you more mileage. Personally, I like to vape at 4.0v generally and 3.5 for sub-ohm.
I hope this helps. I'm not trying to plug anyone but my colleague recommended mtbakervapor and so that's been my trusted internet vape shop so far.
Good luck!
