I’m not upset. I’m pushing back because I think the reasons people want this space in the first place are often because they’re transmeds or they dislike feminine guys, and I think it’s important to challenge those ideas. If the shoe doesn’t fit, nobody has to wear it, but I am legally male, have changed my name, on T, had top surgery, live as a gay man and own a home with a cis gay man and only use he pronouns, and people who meet me assume I’m a man. Nobody would know I’m non-binary unless they asked so that’s why I have to wonder what the difference actually is between me and you, to the point you need a space away from me because I’m too different. At this point I’m just curious.
