Anyone get depressed listening to Michael now?

I personally don’t. Because everyone is gonna die and age, oh well. But Michael seemed larger than life and his music is immortal. So it gives me hope and it makes me feel more happy than listening to a lot of the newer music. Because those artists will be forgotten much sooner than Michael, so in a sense, he will live longer than them. Who knows what will happen to them? Many could die young or have terrible fates. It’s more depressing for me to watch footage of current music artists embarrassing themselves and thinking to myself “this will be so kitsch and outdated soon” than to watch legendary performances by Michael (I love a lot of new artists, don’t get me wrong, but this is about some). I had a phase where I felt nostalgically sad watching videos of Michael, but I got over it when I realised the above things. And now I never have those feelings.
