New Grad & Entry Level - Average Pay in Cyber Security?

I'd certainly look into IT/Web pentesting if new to the field. Consider getting the OSCP certification prior to applying (a basic entry-level pentest cert) that is often mentioned in entry-level job titles. Complete HackTheBox/VulnHub challenges to prepare, as the exam is a set of 5 boxes you must gain root on and write-up a report on to gain full points.

Lot's of folks get their OSCP cert right out of college, but it may be a bit of work to prepare for. It's best to be fairly competent in web frameworks, GNU/Linux admin + CLI, and scripting languages like Python and shell scripting (BASH, ZSH, etc) prior to attempting the OSCP, though I imagine you'll have some exposure through your schooling.
