A little, but you'll be having a blast getting there. A few tips from a fellow enthusiast:

If you're not sure a Captain can be fought or there are too many enemies, there's no fear nor shame in running. Get high up and stealth, and as long as you're out of line of sight, you'll eventually be safe.

Armor and weapons can be upgraded after you obtain them. They'll upgrade to your level, and can be upgraded later in case you find a good piece you don't want to lose.

If you're facing a Captain that doesn't have an immunity or weakness to something, mix up tactics. They can adapt to your common tactics.

If an enemy has the "Mortally Vulnerable to Stealth" weakness, they can also be stealth Dominated (after you unlock it).
