It's easy to believe if you understand how it works.
The Average Youtube CPM (Cost per 1k views) is $2, the RPM (Money you actually receive) is fractional of that, around 55% at best, lower if you are in a network etc etc
Meaning, in an ideal world you would on average receive $1.1/k views.
Now, estimates of around 31% of users on Youtube use AdBlock (Meaning their clicks give you nothing), probably higher for a "Twitch Audience", but lets go for that.
We are now down to 0.34c/k - Average.
Sodas Youtube has had roughly 1.2mil views in the last month.
1,200,000/1000=1200
1200*0.34=$408
This does not take into account seasonal CPM (Which is higher), or by some miracle Sodas youtube channel has a better CPM deal (Which I highly doubt)
Even if he was getting $7 cpm (Which is astronomical these days), that is still only ~$1300 this month.
A quick look at NMP's stream, I see his top donation today was $200, that is already 1/6th of this months BEST POSSIBLE Youtube Earnings, in a single day, from a single donation.
TL;DR: Social Blade earning estimations are notoriously shit and should probably be ignored.
