I expected it. I knew GW would try their hardest to avoid touching Necron Rules. Our 8th Edition Codex was horrible. I've said before "we're an index army under-costed into viability".
They needed to start over from square one.Ressurection Protocol needs a complete rework, that touches a good third of our datasheets & stratagems. Psychic Awakening has not included fundamental reworks of core army mechanics. Changing RP breaks this precedence. It means PA would also need to include a full point re-work to reflect the fact our core ability is now usable. Add a few stratagems, a few relics, custom Dynasties. That is a Necron Codex, not a Psychic Awakening book.
I am disappointed, but not surprised.
