Noticed this guy plugging his stuff in r/music. It's actually pretty bad.

i personally think School Appropriate is the worst track. Thanks for the exposure!

ok I ran a test with this artificially fast rapping idea.

"testing artificially speeding up hip-hop rapping tempo but not pitch "

Looked around for hip-hop multitrack stems. Wind up at this page.

Somebody there mentions how he has some here:

All kinds of multitrack. I open this one. Side Effects Project: 'Sing With Me'. 46 tracks. Use just one of the vocals for this test. This is old stuff, clicked his link, it wound up to a myspace page. haha. Search for the track on google, found it here:

ok so with this concept of speeding up the rapping speed.. That multi-track tempo was 114BPM. In the elastique timestretch, the tempo was 120. So that 120 would be like going at the 114BPM.

Tested speeding and anything faster than 170 you loose track of the words. So that ratio would be like speeding up the 114 to 161.5 BPM. I think it's speeding it up 142%. Seems like the max. Even 180 was a bit too much. I guess it would vary if the original was a slower tempo. So let's say 150% max.
