Hi, if both universities are about the same, I'll probably choose to go to NTU.

I'm from Polytechnic and I understand that sometimes lecture slides are insufficient and that we have to do SDL, in fact is common in my polytechnic/diploma course.

But it's important to me that profs point out the need to read textbooks and where in the textbook, which to me is "covered in the curriculum" since profs already mentioned it.

However, if it's like what the person above mentioned, students cannot understand what the profs have taught, then it'll be a cause for concern, since I thought key points will be covered in lecture by profs and additional information will then need to be self-studied.

Just want to compare which university provides more help to their students so I could make a better decision.
