Oasis posters from my London trip 2000

The last time I was really hyped for Oasis, hoping for a return to glory. I was so broke back then that Oasis was the only band I would buy their CD when it came out. Was saddened that BHN didn't cheer me up when I bought it the day it came out. This album perplexed me as it was worse than BHN. I bought Heathen Chemistry with my last dime the day it came out listened to it walking down the cement LA Riverbed on headphones ( the one you always see in movies, car chases videos etc.) I couldn't make it through the album and this really saddened me. Didn't hear about DBTT until the alt station played Lyla, I wanted to love it, but I felt the song was ok really went nowhere. And I didn't even know DYSO existed until 2011 and really thought Shock if the Lightning was the first song in over a decade that gave me the list for life feeling early Oasis did. I truly loved Oasis but this is my honest listening relationship to their mighty beauty. Thanks for listening to my new years day hungover Ted talk.
