So we had a pretty big issue in our keeper league today.
12 teams .5 ppr
Team A tried to trade Brandon Marshall (2nd round keeper) to Team B for a 5th round pick. I'm the commissioner and thought that was a very high price team B just paid to get Marshall. The trade happened fair and square until we found out that team B didn't realize he would lose his 2nd round pick, he thought he would be losing his 5th. It's our first year doing keepers so I get how a mistake could happen (even though he should've known). A lot of us including myself were bitching pretty hard and team A agreed to reneg the deal and instead they agreed on trading Baldwin (4th round keeper) for a 5th round pick.
It's a pretty messy situation , one that Team A won't live down, he's incredible frustrated and understandably so. I'm not really in favor of vetoing trades but in this case team B didn't have a clear understanding of the rules .
Under these circumstances, did we do the right thing ?
Team A is now saying fuck the league and all that tantrum shit even though he ended up with a 5th round pick still.
Thanks.
