Some points I know of that can explain data discrepancies:

1. Long date ranges include when your account wasn't linked, possibly even by Etsy ads going down on the backend of Etsy without us even realizing it.
2. Data is collected using formulas/calculations from various departments within Etsy, so for example the department in charge of Etsy stats page is running a different formula than the Etsy ads page, why is this? That's up to Etsy's discretion unfortunately.
