I'm freaking out after joining this sub

Might be a lil late, but I had transmission problems in my 2012 Titanium HB. Once they performed the recall back in 2015 for me, all was good. Took them a while, but once I got it back, I put 120k miles on it and it didn’t need anything really (besides regular maintenance) until I changed the purge valve last year. Besides that, I had no major engine problems. Even the headlights lasted me until I also changed those last winter.

I put her through just about every scenario and stretched those limits. She was a beast and even sounded good for being stock. The sound system kept up incredibly well (compared to the awful reviews of stock bose) and I was jamming those entire 120k. Also protected me insanely well in a bad accident.

If they already replaced the transmission, it’s going to last you. Mine was taken early from me, but they’re solid once those two problems(trans and purge valve) are solved. Purge valve took 20 minutes and $40 (if you wait too long to do this, your cat could go bad, amongst other symptoms)

TL;DR: Trans/PV fix make this a safe/reliable and great car and plenty of fun to pack in the hatch
