Pay off HELOC by selling investments?

I mean I likely could, however having the flexibility with that revolving line of credit is also nice peace of mind for me. It’s not so much the rate that’s bothering me I guess as it is that I’m just not hitting the principal as much as I’d like. I could also just pay more each month against the HELOC, I’m just struggling thinking about taking ~15 years to pay this off when I have money available that I’m not overly planning on using for anything specific at this time. I’ve got a good number of working years left but may be planning on reeducation in the midterm future, which is another reason why that HELOC is a nice fallback.
